A pencil or water colour portrait gives you the opportunity to transform that treasured photo or digital image into a work of art, to mark a special occasion, for example: arrival of a new baby, a christening, a birthday, a wedding present, Mother's Day, Father's Day, special Christmas present, an anniversary or a memento just for yourself, a present for a loved one or friend.

To Commission a Portrait

A portrait can be produced in a variety of media including pencil, coloured pencil, pen and ink, watercolour or mixed media. It can also be produced to any size, format or content. Further help with selecting a medium can be found at Selecting a Medium Pencil drawing three children from photo

A portrait can easily be prepared with more than one person or animal in it from different photos. So do not worry about having all the subjects in the same photo. The following example was prepared from three photos. Click on image to see more details

About the Artist

All portraits are produced by Marilyn Stephenson from her studio in the Cotswolds, Gloucestershire, England. She trained at Cheltenham Art College and has always been passionate about painting, drawing and portraiture.

She undertakes commission work for both private and business clients, is a regular exhibitor at local and national art events and teaches in her spare time.
